Equipment that is in a plant, factory or cannot be physically moved  is considered

industrial equipment.  There is consistency in these equipment such as temperature,

environment, hours of operation, no warm up or shut down, ease of monitoring, and

maintenance consistency.   These are all factors that must be taken into consideration

prior to tackling any kind of filtration program.  Many Industrial plants fail to address the

need for a proper filtration strategy and take a one size fits all approach when it comes to



Equipment that is outside and can be moved around on its own power are classified as mobile equipment. Examples of such equipment are mining and construction. With mobile equipment there is a lack of consistency in the equipment because of temperature, environment, varied hours of operation, warm up or shut down , difficulties of taking proper oil samples and maintenance inconsistencies are all factors that have to take into consideration prior to tackling any kind of filtration program. Similar to the Industrial Division, the Mobile division are similar in concepts, but face additional challenges when trying to maintain the oil quality in the system. These challenges include but are not limited to; outside environment exposure, increased dust, dirtier environment, start up and cool down procedures, and human error. Prior to our company engaging in any kind of filtration opportunities, you must first develop a filtration standard that addresses the needs of your equipment. As any filtration strategy the one size fits all approach when it comes to filtration simply does not work. 


Lower Contamination Levels

In order for a filter to be truly effective, it must be able to capture contaminants of all types and sizes.  Our system removes contaminants by trapping and containing them outside of where the oil is circulating. 

Reduce Mechanical Wear

Reducing the mechanical wear in the system will not only decrease the amount of debris but it will also cool the oil by reducing the friction between the components.

Increase Time Interval Between Oil Changes

By implementing proper filtration and oil monitoring, oil will have the potential to last for years.  Simply changing the oil is not cost effective.  This can also lead to hydraulic filters going into bypass prematurely due to contamination.

Onsite Sampling

Our team at Guay can provide online sampling in real time.  Particle count, water saturation percentage, and temperature all recorded and documented.   We will document and provide a report on the equipment and also recommend what equipment should be assessed and identify deficiencies.

Lube Flushes

Our specialty built units provide quality lube flushes.  We flush existing pipe and new construction piping.

-Eliminating internal debris.
-Reynolds number over 4,000-10,000.
-Capable of 3/8 tubing to 10 inch diameter, 
-On-line sampling real time.
-Temperature controlled.

Varnish Removal 

By using our specialty units we can decrease and eliminate harmful varnish in the system.  This will lengthen the component life in the system.

We are hired by clients to improve their current situation in existing filtration and new construction or to provide Quality Control on projects to ensure continuity and progression. 

Tank Inspections & Tank Cleaning

Our tank inspections and tank cleaning services are necessary to complete the quality of the oil.  Without having the tank cleaned the oil will always be dirty which is counter productive.  
Our reports and recommendations after the inspection and cleaning services gives the client reassurance that the reservoir is clean.
